Body Weight Workouts

Cool workouts for your abs, core, and lower back

About April 10, 2007

Well as you can see I have a little apartment that makes a neat home gym. I don’t care for gyms full of body builders and especially don’t care for driving somewhere just to get to a gym.

So I do lots of bodyweight workouts and calisthenics right at home. They keep me in shape so I’m happy.

Hope you enjoy the pics and maybe they’ll help you! 🙂

I’m realizing bodyweight exercises is where its at – and saves $$$$. I’m a member of Lynn Bricks Gym …and I like it there but with the warm weather and the issue of convenience, I can count on one hand how many times I’ve worked out there this summer.

This looks fun, but seeing that the most recent post is from 2007… I guess you don’t keep up with the blog anymore?

  7. We all know what we should be doing, it’s just whether or not we do. You prove that you don’t need very much space, it’s so simple really, ‘just do it’
    🙂

I like the simple format and delivery of your routines as opposed to other sites promoting bodyweight/self-resistance workouts. Do you recommend waiting 48 hours between working a specific muscle group as is usually advocated for traditional weight training?
    Thanks

  9. Good stuff man! Thanks for sharing :0) I think in-home fitness is the way to go. For one you save a lot of time/money, and if you are just getting started you don’t feel like people are staring :0)
